very good looking and extreamly comfortable. They may look like dress shoes but they are great for running and basketball too.

Always a fan of the Jordan Melo series, I think they are the most consistent line in the Jordan and Nike brand as far as on the court performance. The traction is good after a couple days of playing, if you have a proper stride and run on the balls of your feet the zoom bag is great and you'll have a nice cushioned ride. There's nothing in the heel for cushioning which doesn't bug me too much. The lockdown isn't the best of any shoe out there but if you lace them tight they won't slide when you're playing. The materials are really good, everything is done for comfort and performance. The mesh used is very breathable and comfortable and almost feels like a running shoe with support for basketball play. I'm a point guard and don't like shoes that are heavy, my entire game is predicated on changing speeds and stopping quickly. I've come to find that although these shoes tend to be heavier than guard tailored shoes, they seem light in games, and perform better than most of the other shoes I currently own. On a fairly dusty court coming off a screen hard I was able to stick my plant leg moving full speed catch the ball and turn with no slippage. My main concern with basketball shoes is having to think about them during a game. I want to lace them up in the gym and play 40 minutes without knowing they are there and having to worry about executing any moves or plays at game speed. This shoe checks all the boxes for me. I also like the versatility of the shoe because I know forwards who wear this model. I will say if you are a post player or play above the rim you may wish to go with the M13 the new model as the cushioning is even better than the m12. Don't buy these if you are looking for an outdoor shoe, the rubber is very soft and will probably wear down after a day, these are built for indoor play and should last you quite some time especially if you regularly switch out shoes in a rotation for games.

Have owned a few pairs of these Jordan's and the newest version is an upgrade over the previous model. They upgraded the material on the toe to protect where sole and shoe could separate after wearing them for a few months.
